System Architect/ Engineer (Container Platform)

Introduction 36 hours per week Start date: ASAP End date: 12 month contract with possible extension Hybrid working ZZP is not allowed. Function System architect position responsible for creating and maintaining Solution designs and contributing the the container platform technically Responsibilities: We are looking for either a senior engineer or an architect, which actually be consolidating of all these topics, and also can architect and guide the container platform in the department. – their technical level of knowledge should be very deep: they should be aware of, they know what they are talking, they should be aware of the CI/CD GitOps, these kind of things. How stuff will work, and they should have a very deep understanding of Kubernetes, how the Kubernetes networking works, how the storage layer works, all these each and every layer Specific: As a System Architect, I am responsible for designing, documenting, and maintaining end-to-end solution architectures, while providing hands-on technical contributions to the container platform. Measurable: Deliver and maintain at least X high-quality solution designs per quarter, ensure 100% of designs are documented and reviewed, and contribute to container platform improvements through implementation, optimization, or issue resolution (e.g., reducing deployment time, improving stability, or increasing scalability metrics). Achievable: Leverage existing architecture standards, collaborate with engineering teams, and utilize established container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) to continuously improve platform and solution quality. Relevant: Directly supports organizational goals by ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient system designs and by strengthening the technical foundation of the container platform used across teams. Time-bound: Complete initial solution designs within agreed project timelines, perform quarterly design reviews, and deliver ongoing container platform enhancements on a monthly sprint cadence. Requirements Hard skills: – Kubernetes, Azure, Any other cloud experience. – Advanced networking – Architecture (Technical solutioning) – container knowledge – on prem containers knowledge as well – on prem Kubernetes solutions – cloud Kubernetes solutions – specifically the OpenShift – knowledge of complete life cycle of the containers.
