The Mission
INGs Payment and Settlement Services (PSS) aims to further mature, develop and expand INGs state of the art payments platforms and settlements services. The PSS focusses on delivering payments and settlement services, meeting the expectations of INGs business lines and beyond, whilst ensuring the basics: safe, secure, compliant, and reliable. The PSS is an independent unit within INGs CTO domain, reporting directly into INGs Chief Technology Officer.
PSS is responsible for providing standardized payments and settlements services around to multiple ING business lines (WB, Retail, and others). There is a clear ambition to also look for external commercialization of our payment platforms.

You will focus predominantly on the development and extension of the platform of the existing payment engine, APIs and microservices. These applications are written using Java, Spring frameworks (e.g., JPA, JMS, Streaming, Batch, etc.) and deployed via Azure DevOps pipeline.
Your day to day

Even if youll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our offices garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks:
Responsibility for the full the stack/platform on Development, Test, Acceptance and Production environments. You automate relentlessly: Manage configuration via Ansible, deploy via pipelines and leave no chance to automate redundant tasks with scripting.
